Pride and the Prejudice by Jane Austen

Theme: Difficult Marriage
Elizabeth feels that there is a disadvantage to the children of the marriage of their father.

1. Disadvantages of what Elizabeth is talking about?
" Mrs. and Mr. Bennet marriage is based on physical attraction which has become tiresome and financially difficult."
The disadvantages of what Elizabeth is talking about is that being in a relationship as  Mr. and Mrs. Bennet   it can lead the child to hate the parents and want to leave the home early than expected   to. also i t can cost the children to have no respect for their parents.

2. how children affected by difficult marriage?
Children love to see their parents happy as much as the parents wants their child/ children to be, so if the parents a having a difficult marriage the child or children is going to think that its their his of her fault. having a difficult marriage can affect the child's education it can cause lack of concentration. due to their age it can cause Juvenile delinquency which  refers to abnormal social or legal behavior by children or adolescents,  meaning ending up in gangs to get comfort, start to steal and commit crimes affecting their lifestyle. it can also reach an extent that they commit suicide because of all the lack of love and  tension in the home.

3.Is it acceptable today to stay in a marriage because of children.
this question can be a yes and no answer because if the parents a separated it can effect the child because the child have to be going back and front to the mother and father and the parents could be living in different cultural background causing the child to have to be adjusting to suite the parents, also when the parents a combine together the child could learn form the father and mother and the parents can combine to help the child in the future.
But if the relationship don't have any love or affection it can still affect the child state of mind because the child or children could be witnessing the parents constantly arguing which lead the child again to lack in certain aspect in life. also the realisation that they could be the cause of their parents sacrifice can bring about more harm than just emotional  turmoil to them.
